Maggie Carruth O’Connor
Director + TED License Holder

Maggie hails from Atlanta but has called Chattanooga home since January 2019. She is passionate about bringing people and ideas together. She jumped on the opportunity to revive TEDxChattanooga in 2020 and has been the TED license holder since then. She is inspired to make the TEDxChattanooga brand a staple in the community by producing a variety of events that host local speakers and artists from all walks of life.

Outside of TEDxChattanooga, she also organizes a free musical festival, Highland Park Porchfest, and is the Founder/President of Third Place Productions - a 501(c)3 committed to creating more “third places” in town while simultaneously celebrating Chattanooga’s culture through inclusive, informative, and inspiring events.
